EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SMALL GROUPS

We believe in small groups, and believe that small groups play a vital role throughout The Mix.
Listed below are several documents (guides and handouts) to help your small groups win this weekend and beyond.

[1] Friday Night Small Group Guide - This guide is to help leaders navigate conversations following Reed’s talk “Faithful Then,” unpacking the story of Joseph. We recommend supplying leaders with pens, index cards and a stack of sticky notes for tonight’s group to help with activities.

[2] Pre-Breakout Notes: Prior to Saturday morning’s breakouts, encourage leaders to make sure that every student is given a notes sheet and pen. Our hope is that this handout will help students focus during breakouts and reflect on their breakout as they prepare for their small group time later in the morning. This is a two-sided print - that is also needed to be cut in half.

[3] Saturday Morning Small Group Guide - Our hope is that Saturday morning’s group will be a time where groups will be able to reflect on breakouts, and potentially even relay information they learned in breakouts to each other. While there are five simple questions given for Saturday morning, we believe that these questions will lead to powerful conversations. Print and cut into quarter sheets.

[4] Saturday Night Small Group Guide - Saturday night, Reed will be unpacking Peter’s denial and restoration as we look at God’s faithfulness in our own lives. Groups are encouraged to unpack this story further, doing their best to find themselves in the story of Peter. Please encourage time for response cards to be filled out during this group - as a church, use these response cards to drive following up with your students.

[5] Response Cards - These will need to be cut in half. We recommend oversupplying each group with response cards to ensure that each student receives a response card.
